Empatia is born from the union of the great tradition of blown glass and Artemide’s LED technology. A keen interest in the material’s expressive potential led to a collaboration with master glassblowers, in order to gain full control over the unique malleability of Venetian glass and to explore the balance between surface and light, between subtle densities and transparencies.
