DESCRIZIONE

A hybrid between a vase and a lamp, Giova marks Gae Aulenti’s debut in the field of designer lighting. Available in two sizes, Giova is a true sculptural light fixture. A transparent globe rests on a metal base; this globe contains an inner sphere that houses the light source. Resting atop it is a cup made of frosted blown glass (filled with irregular air bubbles), which serves as a flower vase in every sense of the word. Design by: Gae Aulenti, 1964
